Spunky The Skunk

A new season is approaching and also a new Edmonton Safe Parent Association. Along with the new Safe Parent Association is an old familiar face that loves everyone who

is in need of help, children and adults alike. Spunky the Skunk!!!!

As the new Edmonton Safe Parent Association gets up and running, so will Spunky and his handler, helping families get new signs for their windows and also appearing in as many schools as possible so that everyone will know that a Spunky house IS a safe house”.

Spunky has had a fantastic summer and is looking forward to coming to many schools and community functions once again to give and get as many hugs as he can and meet the many people who want to be part of providing a safe house to not only children in trouble but also adults who need help as well. 

Over the last year I have enjoyed attending community functions and also helped greet Santa Claus at Christmas. I met many wonderful children at schools and in playgrounds and no one can ever have more fun than a fuzzy skunk when loving children and parents surrounds him.

I look forward to revisiting many places I have already had the pleasure of visiting and also meeting many, many new friends, young and old alike.
