Sign Exchanges

As you know we have changed our name and are now called the Edmonton Safe Parent Association and have a new logo. Block Parent is no longer recognized in Edmonton and you should NOT be displaying the Block Parent sign. We have had a lot of media coverage on this:

CBC Radio Canada, Global News, Shaw Cable 10, The Edmonton Sun, The Edmonton Examiner, St. Alberta Gazette and of course the Auto Dialer and our Newsmagazine.

I and several members of the Executive have been working every weekend for the past three (3) months exchanging signs. A lot of effort and volunteers hours were dedicated to this.

Approximately 800 people came to see us to exchange signs and update their files, Of those, 800 only 44 have taken themselves off of the list.

I will now be mailing letters to all of you who did not come to exchange signs asking for updates on your family, as well as sending you a new sign. Please take the time to fill out the form provided and send it back. This way I will have an accurate data base to work from.

Your continued support in this important child oriented, crime prevention program is greatly appreciated.
